Old and Foolish

Went to yoga last night- A beginners course I am doing for the next eight weeks. Figured I would start at the very beginning since I haven’t done yoga for two years and even then I was a novice at it. Sure I went 2-3 times a week but that was only for 6 months.

We did a few of the basics as an introduction- the most challenging thing was the tree pose and warrior poses.

I am so sore today I feel like I have been battered with oranges wrapped in a towel.

hm - inspite of the “battered with oranges” (so funny) description, it IS kind of a good sore, no? It’s great that you’re going! As you know from before, it will get easier.

oooh, where are you going? i’ve been thinking about doing something like that, seeing as how i’ve taken like 2 yoga classes in my life. if it’s a decent place, will you email me and drop me the name?

Gigi-

Good pain- yes You’re right. I know you’re right… I need to stop wishing I was the sort of person that did yoga and become a person who does yoga.

jen- was good to see you yesterday. Like I said, I’m doing the beginner course at triyoga http://www.triyoga.co.uk/
