I succumbed to the most ubiquitous item that you will see on a London street.

I now own a pair of ballet flats (mine however are black).

While I am mildly disturbed at my caving in on this fashion point, I have always liked ballet flats. I just haven’t gotten them before because everyone else seems to wear them.

If however, I tell you at some point that I have decided to pair them with fuchsia fishnets or with a dress worn over a pair of jeans, or with leg warmers, you have permission to throttle me.

What about the leopard print?

Ma Barker Says:

Well I always loved these shoes. But I am a girl of the 60’s. How many times this week I’ve heard what’s old is new. Remember the movie Shag? With Annabell Gish when she was shaging - that’s the shoe she wore. Now there is a movie I like to watch over and over. Like Dirty Dancing great music and dancing - even if the story line did suck.

Eh, oh well :D I really, really want a pair of Converse (I USED to have a pair of green low tops, and red high tops, back in the day) but refuse to because everyone else has them :P

I do remember the film mom. . . although it should be noted that shagging means something else altogether in the United Kingdom.

Ma Barker Says:

Oh Well their loss or should I say gain.
