Because one of my favourite past times is driving myself crazy, I like to look at houses I can’t afford and imagine that I can afford them. I’ve done this for years. Here it is worse because even the houses I can afford are out of reach because Stuart doesn’t want to buy. He says that I can buy a place and charge him rent. I may very well do that. I will have a house with a 1950’s diner style kitchen before I die. I will have a red Smeg fridge.

This is the house that I would buy today if I had a spare million pounds. It’s in a fantastic location. Right near Wandsworth Common, walking distance (I think. Stuart would disagree) to Balham, Wandsworth and Clapham Junction stations. Near Northcote Road.

While I love this house on paper (or Website) for its four bedrooms, for the garden and the cellar and the period features. . . what I really love about it is one of the bathrooms. . .

I would spend entire weekends in that bathtub reading. My skin would be perma pruned from lounging in the tub.

I want that house. Hey, we could do it. It’s only £5,400 a month for the mortgage.

Sigh.

Note to self. Buy a lottery ticket.

I love those old-fashioned fridges. And that bathroom is stunning — though it might be chilly in the winter. I think this hobby of yours might be depressing though — I feel depressed just looking at those pictures. But then that’s probably because I live in a tiny room.

BTW, since I’m too lazy for e-mail, just to let you know that I can come pick up my boxes any time after 31st August. Just give me the word and I’ll be there!

I know what you mean. . . although I sometimes wish I was still in school. . .

Things are nuts for me with travel the next three weeks- But mid Sept whenever it is good for you to come by would be great!

Are there more pictures of this flat. As you know I love my house but that old house that was being converted into condows on Station 18 on Sullivans Island are finished. There are 6 of them. Today we looked in the windows. Wow!!!! We first noticed this old building over 4 years ago. They have been working on them this whole time. Each one is suppose to have over 2000 sq ft. What can I say it wasn’t just your father who had its greener on the other side. But like your step father says it might seem greener but its just as hard to mow.
Have a good time in Spain. Find a good piture of sangria and think of me. It has to be good or I won’t like it.
    Hugs to guys

Oh, that is a beautiful bathroom!

I do that too, by the way. Look at houses I can’t afford, even ones we can afford but have no reason to move into. I love houses.
