Cranford

A number of weeks ago I found myself sucked into the miniseries of Cranford.

It’s about a small town in North England near Cheshire during the 1840’s.

I DVR’d it and watched the last episode tonight and was sitting here sobbing like a fucking sap.

It’s so so so sooooooo good. If it comes to the US, watch it. Is so funny and sad and I am about to weep thinking about certain parts (but I am PMTing (PMS) so bite me).

Judy Dench was brilliant. I love how her character set up the tea room and wouldn’t let anyone buy green tea.

Best drama in years.

Wasn’t that hysterical? And it was so nice to see her play someone that was so soft and not craggy.

The ending with Harry and Lady Ludlow is what had me all verclempt.
