Education: BA English Literature from Southern Utah University no. i am not a mormon. MFA Theatre Playwrighting emphasis from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. MFA Screenwriting from The American Film Institute. all of this really means is that I am very good at making people think I am smarter than I actually am and i have a lot of student loans.
Places I have lived: Various places in Southern California that I was too young to now recall, Kingman AZ, Las Vegas NV, Visalia CA, Tucson AZ, Cedar City UT, Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA for eight years. longest stretch in my life in one place and London UK.
Job: Training Specialist/Performance Consultant for a largish global software and Internet content provider that gives us free soda. yes. i know that this has nothing to do with what i studied in school. yes, it depresses me but not enough to do anything about it. a girl has to buy sushi and shoes.
Special Skills: Falling down, saying something unintentionally embarrassing, misplacing my keys and cell err, i mean mobile phone, taking bad pictures of myself and others and needing to go the bathroom fifty times a day.
Things I like: I love cracking my knuckles, curling, iclandic birdcalls and setting small children and animals on fire.
Why am I living in London: I am on this here island because in Spring of 2005 my job sent me to London to assist in the running of the UK version of my Department. trust me. it sounds much more prestigious than it actually is. In the first week here, I met a boy and shortly after we decided that we wanted to keep hanging out. Six months later, I had sold my car, given away my cats, moved out of my rent controlled Hollywood apartment, got married, shipped my things, got on a plane and stumbled into the next chapter of my life as an expat.
