this is a great question!! I would really like to know the answer to this as well
question I always wondered when shooting a video; if you shoot lets say those kids for a minute..than it is included in a music video..can they sue for money..what is the rule for getting shots of people without paying them..is it legal only for a few seconds..please, let me know..thank you
It says 7D on the strap.
this was very interesting, thank u for this Tom
what kind of camera are u using to film the woman
Can you use xlr with the D7? Otherwise, do you just use mni-jack, and what cosequence does that ave on the sound quality. Is it hearable whether you use a xlr or a mini-jack?
amazing thank you very much. I’m getting a 550D in a couple of days and following a dream of making films. I live in Bangkok so I hope there should be a lot of interesting things to film.
Great video!
Its really beautiful and a great video tutorial!! I love it! Thanks for all the tips!
Awesome! Thanks for the tips. Where is this all shot? South America Somewhere?
Hey, thanks for the tutorials! I am actually a photographer living in Ecuador and starting to get into videography, so it was fun to find your tutorials on Montañita. Also, great tips, I especially like how you compared quality of sound of the internal and external mic. Saludos!
The ” furry fabric ” that cuts out most of the wind noise is called a Dead Cat. Good job on making your own though.
Hi Tom, can you tell me what software you use to edit your footage? Thanks.
Great video. Thanks a lot!
you spent to much time on watching in the camera to little time telling your victim not to look into the lens, broke the illusion didnt believe a thing you said.
why do you have to say that often “you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know” ???????????
Very helpful…
Another helpful thing while shooting in poorer urban areas is replacing that tantalizing CANON EOS string and replace it by something less obvious or even blacken the text with a marker. A 5DII and even a 1D look pretty boring, old-fashionable and not worth stealing in developing countries where they prefer glittery stuff like iPhones. A cheap backpack and wearing worn and “poor” clothes is a must too. Thanks for the real life tips!
Really nice tutorials. Thanks
Good stuff, once again. You are a really good teacher. (Oh, I think having them pretty chicks in the video kinda sucked me in too, lol)
Montañita?
Well done thanks for the great info. I wish you all success in your films. Lars
i love this..
I have never edit the audio separately…is it hard?
