The legendary journey on the Peruvian Railway from Lima to Huancayo, with the added bonus of steam for the initial climb. A stunning climb up the Andes all the way to Galera, which at that time was the highest railway crossing in the world. Part 2 or 2. A trip organised by Ffestiniog Travel in October 2001.     Wonderful video and excellent job, wtahcing them its like taking a little tour around our latin americamn country, Id like to ride this train sometime if its still going up through the andes, also would be wonderful to experiment the zig-zag junctions which in Bolivia we never had, kind regards!!

    I can imagine 4800m altitude where naturally aspirated diesel engine consumes relatively more fuel and produce almost half of the output as compared with sea level.
